Celebrating 20 successful years "Promoting Peace Through Understanding", the U.S. branch of CFPNI will be dissolved at the end of 2007. The N.I. branch will continue the stewardship of promoting peace through 2008.

CFPNI would like to thank everyone who has been involved in CFPNI over the years. To all of our volunteers who gave freely in order to help the teens bridge the religious barriers, we could not have succeeded without you!

Our hope is that all of the past teen participant's leadership will shine through by picking up the torch to help others who are struggling against unseen barriers.

The teen alumni of the past 20 years will continue "Promoting Peace Through Understanding" with future projects.

Help us locate past teen participants. Click on the Add Teen Alumni Contact Information link below. If you know a teen with great leadership skills, nominate them as Interim Class Agens Below.

The CFPNI Board of Directors is pleased to announce the two recipients of the remaining US funds to be dispersed as of December 31, 2007.

Throughout the Irish Children's Fund's(ICF) 26 years of operation over 3,500 Protestant and Catholic boys and girls from Belfast have experienced the warmth and caring of families in the USA. The children are hosted within the Greater Chicago Area, Northwest Indiana and Indianapolis, arriving end of June and departing end of July. But it doesn't end there! Back in Belfast there is an ongoing program that brings them together weekly. Three years later thay can return to the U.S. as part of the Teen program. For more information visit their website at

We wish both organizations all the best!
