Central Ohio welcomed 3 pairs of teens to host families in the Dublin suburb of Columbus.
This was our first experience with host families who had children younger than the CFPNI teens.
The host families worked as a group to schedule activities from visits to the local fire department
to house and pool parties. Everyone enjoyed a complimentary day at the local water park, Wyandot Lake.
The final week was capped by a visit and tour of the Ohio governor's mansion and gardens.
With the generosity of Nelson Auto Group in Marysville, OH who loaned vans, the families were able to
take extended trips to Washington D.C. and Cleveland. The teens worked on service projects at Mid-Ohio
Food Bank and assisted with childcare at a local summer Bible camp.
